Rehabitat is in need of members, volunteers and supplies.
Our search for committed volunteers is one that never ends, especially now as we grow and expand our services. We are fortunate to have a number of volunteers who have given generously of their time in various ways for many years. There is no doubt we could not have survived without them, but they can’t do it all! Our volunteer needs have increased dramatically and whether you can donate one or 50 hours a month, we hope you’ll consider Rehabitat as the recipient of your time and energy.
We are always in need of a handyman to do minor repairs around the facility and people who can help build and/or repair wooden barn owl mews. If you can use a power screwdriver or drive a nail, you have all the skills we need. If you can help, we need you to commit just one evening or day of your time. Call Wendy at 717-443-5348 to schedule a mutually convenient date for any weekday, evening, or weekend.
We can also use help with cleaning and feeding at the facility, staffing tables at fund-raising events, helping with special events such as the PA Farm Show, producing educational and promotional materials, transporting supplies and a whole range of activities that can take up as little as one hour a month. And if you have other talents to offer, we’d love to hear from you. All we ask is that you stick with any commitments you make; we depend on you once you’ve made that commitment.
